5 Unique Decks Top Wild Players Piloted to Legend

Tired of the same old rotation of Decks? Here’s 5 unique decks among 5 different classes that Top Wild Players used this Month to achieve Legend Status. We’ve seen a lot of new decks and innovation this season with the nerf to Fiery War Axe and Innervate alongside the rise of Reno Priest. The Metagame continues to adapt and change and we’re seeing player’s come up with some really awesome decks along the way.

The Decklists

Slizzle466's Demon Zoolock

Slizzle466’s – Demon Keleseth Zoolock

Slizzle466's Demon Zoo

Using the new Bloodreaver Gul'dan and Prince Keleseth, Demon Zoolock is capable of putting on a ton of pressure using efficient minions throughout the early, mid, and late game. The deck utilizes powerful synergies  like discard alongside Malchezaar's Imp, and demons alongside Voidcaller.

Voidcaller is particularly terrifying in this deck, especially after a buff from Prince Keleseth. It provides a threat resilient to AoE, and is capable of cheating out extremely powerful demons early in the game.

The deck plays like the typical Zoo deck we all know and love, but with some powerful end game finishers.

Xaos36's Reno Quest Mage

Xaos36 – Reno Quest

Reno Quest Mage

If you’re looking for another Reno Style Deck other than priest, Xaos36 used a Reno Deck featuring the Mage Quest to reach Rank 2 Legend. With the Quest alongside Ice Block and Reno Jackson, the deck boasts a great matchup against the Reno Priest filled metagame.

The deck completes the quest in style with cards like Ghastly Conjurer, Clockwork Gnome, and even Kazakus potions. Alongside the quest, The deck has is with powerful defensive capabilities with the new Death Knight, Frost Lich Jaina alongside Wild staple Reno Jackson.

The reason to include the quest is that it allows for an OTK finish with Arcane Giant, Molten Giant, Echo of Medivh, Time Warp into Alexstrasza. If you’re looking for something completely different with plenty of room for tech options, this beautifully constructed deck is worth giving a shot!

Sipiwi94's OTK Druid

Sipiwi94's OTK Druid

Sipiwi94 used an Aviana K’un style OTK deck to reach legend early in the season. The deck uses the MillPackage of Coldlight Oracles and Naturalize to punish draw heavy Reno Priests, and a spectacular OTK finish to win the game.

The deck finishes the game with the following sequence:

The rest of the deck is full of ramp and card draw in order to assemble the pieces to combo as quick as possible. If you are looking to punish slower decks or control decks, this deck is great at doing just that, as it is perhaps one of the hardest counters to Reno Priest. Aggressive decks may be a difficult matchup, but we’ve seen a large decline in Pirate Warriors since the nerf.

Kademi_HS's Mill Warrior

Kademi_Hs’s Mill Warrior

Kademi_HS's Iron Juggernaut Mill Warrior

Kademi_HS made Legend on Asia Servers using a unique Mill/Control Warrior variant. The deck uses Iron Juggernaut, a N’zoth package, and Dead Man's Hand to outlast and fatigue opponents out. If you’re looking for a Control Warrior style deck, this is a good place to start.

With Brann Bronzebeard, Iron Juggernaut, and Dead Man's Hand, the deck is capable of shuffling in multiple mines into the opponent’s deck. This can even shut off Reno Jackson and Raza the Chained if done early enough. The deck has plenty of anti aggro tools as well with Deathlords, Sludge Belchers and plentiful removal.

HolyFire's Keleseth Rogue

HolyFire’s Keleseth Rogue

HolyFire's Keleseth Rogue

If you are a fan of aggressive, tempo oriented Rogue strategies, this deck is a fantastic option.

With the addition of Piloted Shredder, Azure Drake, and Loatheb from Wild, Keleseth Rogue is capable of incredible tempo swings and bursts of damage.

The additions from Wild in particular are really good in the Priest Matchup, as Priest can really struggle dealing with Azure Drake, Piloted Shredders, and Loatheb. These sticky minions, alongside multiple charge minions and powerful battlecry effects from cards like Vilespine Slayer and Bonemare means that Keleseth Rogue often is able to get ahead on board early, and continue threatening large amounts of damage.

HolyFire was able to achieve Rank 1 Legend with the following list:

We’re seeing a lot of great innovation and new brews as players adapt to a Metagame that has shifted drastically since the last expansion. Priest has certainly warped the format and shown to be an incredibly powerful deck, but these 5 decks illustrate that Priest is very beatable, and that you can take advantage of a predictable metagame.

I hope to continue this series in the future by highlighting various unique decks that player’s have been successful with. If you have any Brews that have been performing well, I’d love to hear from you guys. Thanks for reading!
